DUTY PROCEDURES

1.GATE PROCEDURES

  • (a)When a vehicle approaches the gate, the assigned guardsman shall seek out the name of the driver of the vehicle, and any of his passengers.
  • (b)The assigned guardsman shall then verify the name of the driver of the vehicle and all passengers and verify if the person is on the approved persons list.
  • (c)A vehicle shall be checked to see if it is on an active BOLO list.
  • (d)The approved persons shall consist of the following;
    • (i)National Guard Personnel
    • (ii)National Guard Recruits when attending phases
    • (iii)Developer Oversight
    • (iv)State Senate
    • (v)The Governor and the Lieutenant Governor
    • (vi)Judges of the Superior Court
    • (vii)Law Enforcement Personnel
    • (viii)Justices of the Supreme Court
    • (ix)Other approved personnel as appended by Headquarters
  • (e)If a vehicle, and all their occupants are approved, the gate shall be opened, and the vehicle shall be permitted to park.
  • (f)If a vehicle is not approved, it shall be forced to turn around, and force may be escalated to enforce this.

1.DETAINMENT PROCEDURES

  • (a)When detaining trespassers, Guardsmen shall be allowed to detain a trespasser for 10 minutes without them being placed into the Brig, or any other sorts of a cell.
  • (b)When detaining a trespasser, Guardsmen shall be allowed to detain a trespasser for 15 minutes after placing them into a cell or Brig.
