ACTIVITY POLICY

1.GENERAL ACTIVITY REGULATIONS

  • (a)Guardsmen of the Ridgeway National Guard must submit one (1) log of thirty (30) minutes every activity cycle.
    • (i)Squad Leaders and Command SNCOs must submit one (1) shift/event log lasting at minimum thirty (30) minutes every activity cycle and one (1) log of thirty (30) minutes.
  • (b)If a Guardsman does not meet the activity quota by the end of the activity cycle, they must receive a recorded warning for failing to uphold their duties.
  • (c)In the event that the ridgeLOG bot is down, Guardsmen must take a full screenshot of their entire screen, of them in-game starting their log, and when they finish their log.
    • (i)This must be sent to their immediate Officer/SNCO before the current log cycle ends.

##### 2. MISC. PROVISIONS

  • (a)A guardsman may appeal an activity warning by doing double quota for two (2) consecutive activity cycles.
  • (b)Log cycles start and end as announced in the log cycle channel.
  • (c)A guardsman’s command may delete the guardsman’s log if the log was completed improperly (the guardsman was afk for a large portion of the log, the guardsman was not carrying out their duties, etc.)

3.LEAVE OF ABSENCE

  • (a)A guardsman is entitled to a standard seven (7) days leave of absence without fear of any termination, retribution, or any other form of disciplinary action.
    • (i)A guardsman may only have a standard leave of absence once every calendar month, given that the same guardsman was not afforded an extended leave on the same month.
  • (b)A guardsman shall be entitled to an extended leave of absence more than seven (7) days but not lasting more than fourteen (14) days without fear of termination, retribution, or other forms of disciplinary action.
    • (i)A guardsman is only entitled to extended leave once every calendar month, given that the same guardsman was not afforded a standard leave on the same month.
  • (c)A guardsman’s right to entitled leave may only be granted in the following scenarios:
    • (i)The guardsman has emergent responsibilities to tend to in their real life.
    • (ii)The guardsman is sick, injured, or medically admitted for treatment in real life.
    • (iii)The guardsman has a vacation, voyage, or extended trip in real life.
  • (d)Leave shall only exempt a guardsman from a week’s activity requirements if their leave extends 3 days into that week.

4.EXEMPTIONS & SPECIAL ACTIVITY REGULATIONS

  • (a)Units listed here are exempt from the general activity regulations, and may have their own specific ones stated.
  • (b)Members of the 91st Military Police Investigations Company are subject to an internal quota to maintain activity. This shall be decided upon by the Provost Marshal.
  • (c)Members of the 27th Military Intelligence Detachment are subject to an internal quota to maintain activity. This shall be decided upon by the Detachment Commander.
  • (d)Headquarters shall have the authority to reasonably issue an exemption to this regulation and log cycles.
