MUTUAL AID

- Deployment Ability
- (a)A officer in the Ridgeway National Guard of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel+ has the ability to deploy the guard.
- (b)This should only be used in compliance with the Mutual Aid Act
- (c)The officer must be in game and leading the deployment.
- (d)Once the officer leaves the deployment will be over.
- (e)The deployment orders shall be in line with all laws and constitutional provisions as applicable.
2. Departing Base
- (a)While mutual aid is active all guardsman are permitted to depart base with a full combat loadout and assist LEO’s around the county.
- (b)Guardsman should go out in groups and refrain from going alone.
- (c)Guardsman should follow all orders from superiors.
- (d)Any of the following can order a guardsman to return to base:
- Military Police
- Guardsman at the rank of Sergeant +
- (e)Deployed Guardsmen must comply with traffic laws unless under the following circumstances:
- There is a significant threat to life
- Responding to an emergency situation
- (f)Once the deployment is over, all guardsman must return to base.
